MARBLE IDOLION – Terms of Service (BETA 0.9‑lite)

MARBLE IDOLION is currently in beta testing. You can play without signing in, but account registration and authentication are limited.

"MARBLE IDOLION" ("MI", "we", "our", "us") is an experimental, free‑to‑play hobby project run by a sole proprietor in Japan. Features, rules and these Terms may change or disappear without notice.

1.  Acceptance

By accessing or using MI you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2.  Service Snapshot

  • Free browser‑based idle games that award medals (virtual scores) – never real money.

  • Test phase only; downtime, wipes and data resets may occur without warning.

  • We may modify, suspend or close the service at any time.

3.  Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will give reasonable advance notice (normally by posting the new version on the site). Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

4.  Eligibility

The service is intended for players aged 13 years or older. If you are under the legal age of majority in your country, please ask a parent or guardian before playing. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if we learn that we have done so, we will delete it promptly.

5.  Accounts

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time; we will erase personal data within 30 days except where retention is legally required.

6.  Licence to Use MI

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence to enjoy the games for non‑commercial purposes, provided you comply with these Terms.

7.  Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse‑engineer, copy or redistribute the games or site code.

  • Exploit bugs, bots or hacks to obtain medals.

  • Interfere with servers, networks or other players.

  • Use automated scraping, data‑mining or load‑testing tools.

  • Use MI for commercial promotion without our prior written consent.

8.  Medals (Virtual Scores)

Medals exist only inside MI. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be reset during the test phase.

9.  Intellectual Property

All site content and code belong to MI or its licensors. You obtain no ownership rights by using the service.

10.  Ads & Links

The site may display third‑party advertisements or links. We neither endorse nor guarantee them; you use them at your own risk.

11.  Disclaimer

MI is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, that the site will be error‑free, uninterrupted or otherwise meet your expectations.

12.  Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MI shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Where we may not lawfully disclaim all liability, our aggregate liability for direct damages shall be limited to the total fees (if any) that you paid us during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability resulting from our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

13.  Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MI harmless from any third‑party claims or damages arising from your misuse of the service.

14.  Termination

We may suspend or delete accounts, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms.

15.  Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.

16.  Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and store personal information (currently only your email address). By using MI you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

17.  Copyright or Content Concerns

If you believe material on MI infringes your rights, please email support@marble‑idolion.com with:
1. Identification of the content in question;
2. A link or description of where it appears on the site;
3. Your contact details.
We will review promptly and, if necessary, remove or disable the material.

18.  Miscellaneous

If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect. We may assign our rights under these Terms; you may not assign yours without our consent. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
